ASIAWATER 2024 serves as a unifying force, providing a comprehensive platform to foster connections, cultivate new networks, explore emerging markets, and engage with quality buyers. It serves as the pinnacle event to showcase the latest advancements in products and solutions.

This event brings together decision-makers, industry stalwarts, end-users, consultants, and trade delegates from across the region, providing a fertile ground for forging new business relationships and capitalizing on emerging opportunities. It also serves as an unparalleled opportunity to unveil cutting-edge products, technologies, and solutions to key stakeholders and industry influencers.

Speaking at this event was Deputy Energy Transition and Public Water Transformation Minister, Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir, mentioned that the government has set a target to reach 98% coverage of clean water and sewerage in rural areas which now stands at 97.1% for clean water and 84.4% for sewerage. According to him, one of the ways that have been set to achieve this target is by investing in upgrading the water infrastructures which is mostly at a critical point now. Also highlighted by him was the Nation’s plan to reduce the NRW rate to 31% by 2025. It stands at 50% average now. This is a good opportunity for AVK to bring our quality product into this plan that aligns with the statement given by the minister.

AVK Valves Malaysia, alongside AVK Fusion, proudly participated in Asia Water 2024, marking a successful engagement. Our booth, strategically positioned within the Convention Centre, attracted a diverse audience, including end-users, consultants, contractors, and influential decision-makers within the Water and Wastewater sector.

Furthermore, esteemed business partners from the SEA region, such as HOVAEL Holding from Sri Lanka, Comin Khmere from Cambodia, Euro-Oriental Trading from Thailand, and Quantum Puri from Sarawak, Malaysia, joined us. Additionally, representatives from our supportive sister companies, including AVK Anhui from China, AVK Singapore, AVK Fusion Indonesia, AVK Philippines, AVK Vietnam, AVK Glenfield from Australia, Wouter Witzel from the Netherlands, and Orbinox from Spain, graced the event.

The exhibition also provided visitors with an insight into Fusion’s solutions, not just product approach, giving visitors the chance to get “hands-on” with their product range, learn more about extensive supply chain and global manufacturing footprint and reserved a spot at AVK Fusion’s upcoming electrofusion training event hosted at their brand-new facility in Selangor, Malaysia.
This gathering provided an ideal platform for our esteemed customers and partners to engage with our AVK sister company representatives, fostering meaningful discussions on business matters and opportunities within their respective regions.

The final day of the event was honored by the presence of esteemed former politician, YB Charles Anthony Santiago, the current Chairman of the National Water Services Commission (SPAN).
Established in 2008, SPAN's mission is to regulate Malaysia's water services industry, envisioning sustainable, reliable, and affordable water services for all.
